Logo use

VETcert actively encourages promotion of the Certification scheme through certified specialists displaying their status on their websites, advertising, reports etc. There are strict guidelines with regards to who can use the VETcert logo. The rules of use are set out below.

  1. The VETcert logo can only be used by VETcert certified specialists, and at the correct level. This means a VETcert specialist at the practising level cannot use the VETcert logo on any report they may issue, nor can a VETcert specialist at the consulting level advertise VETcert for their practising work.
  2. As the VETcert certification is a personal certification, companies may only use the VETcert logo in relation to work performed by the certification holder, not as a general company certification.
  3. VETcert owns all licences, copyright and design rights to the VETcert logo.
  4. The VETcert logo design may not be added to, changed or tampered with in any way with regard to all elements of typography, design, colour or format. Up-sizing or downscaling is permitted.
  5. The files are available in a number of file formats so that they can be used in different presentational situations.
  6. If an individual ceases to be VETcert certified (i.e. they don’t recertify or lose certification status), they must immediately stop displaying the VETcert logo in any possible format (website, stationery, vehicles, e-mail signatures, business cards, etc.)
  7. Use of the VETcert name and/or logo outside these rules of use is an offence and VETcert may take action against offenders, including legal action. Such action can include seeking a permanent injunction and/or issuing proceedings for damages arising from trade mark infringement.
  8. Please send any suspected cases of logo misuse, with supporting evidence, to vetcert@eac-arboriculture.com

By downloading the logo, you are agreeing to abide by the VETcert logo rules of use as outlined in the guidelines above.
